When I first began offering trauma release sessions in Puerto Vallarta in July 2024, I knew the setting would be beautiful but I didn’t yet understand how deeply the environment would enhance the work itself.
My first sessions were held in a private condo cradled by the mountains. The second time, I facilitated from the top of a palapa — open-air, completely private, with warm breezes moving gently through the space. Surrounded by mountains, ocean air, and sunlight, the container felt naturally supported and held.
My work focuses on nervous system regulation and trauma release. When clients arrive, they are often carrying tension and stress from life decisions, unprocessed emotions, and past experiences stored in the body. The shoulders sit high. The breath is shallow. The mind feels scattered.
Guided somatic work, breath, grounding practices…
Through guided somatic work, breath, grounding practices, and intentional touch, the body begins to feel safe enough to let go. Trauma is not only a memory — it lives within the nervous system. When the body softens, something powerful happens.
In Puerto Vallarta, that softening seems to come more quickly.
Perhaps it’s the rhythm of the ocean, the steadiness of the mountains, or the warmth of the people here, but the body responds. By the end of a session, the breath deepens. Faces relax. Hearts open. Clients often describe feeling lighter, clearer, and more grounded.
One client shared, “A deep release of old energy so we can be free to grow in new directions that better serve us and everyone in our lives.”
Another told me, “I felt drawn to your loving energy, and when I saw your post on Instagram about your work, I just knew I needed to receive a session from you.”
These words reflect what I witness again and again — healing happens when people feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for.
I return to Puerto Vallarta every six to eight months for follow-up sessions with clients who continue their healing journey. This year, I am also preparing to host my first retreat there, expanding the container for deeper transformation.
Reset your nervous system & reconnect with yourself
Puerto Vallarta is known for its beauty, culture, and vibrant spirit. For me, it is also a place where people come to rest, reset their nervous systems, and reconnect with themselves in a profound way.
I will be returning at the end of March and plan to continue visiting every six to eight months for private sessions and follow-up work. For those who feel called to explore this kind of healing — whether you are a resident, seasonal visitor, or planning your next trip — you can learn more about my offerings and upcoming retreats at roseandwomb.com.
Puerto Vallarta is a place where people come to rest, reconnect, and rediscover themselves. It is an honor to hold space for that unfolding here.
