Actionable design plans tailored to your space – whether it’s your everyday home or a high-performing vacation rental.

Beautiful Spaces, Without the Overwhelm.

I’m Mara Sanchez, founder of Maukaa Design – an MX-based virtual design studio offering accessible interior design. Whether you’re decorating your first home or furnishing a full short-term rental, I create clear, easy-to-follow design plans that make your space feel complete, without the stress or guesswork.

How it works
To get started, I’ll need 3 key things:
1.A floor plan with measurements – so I can design a layout that works perfectly for your space
2.Inspiration images or a Pinterest board – to get a feel for your style and goals
3.Your budget – so every recommendation is realistic and easy to implement

Whether we’re designing your personal home or a vacation rental, I work closely with you to create a plan that reflects your vision, fits your space, and takes care of all the design details – so you don’t have to.

Why work with me?
Furnishing a space you love can quickly become a time-consuming and stressful task. You can spend endless hours scrolling through the internet in search of the perfect pieces, and the uncertainty of how to best lay out your space and coordinate all the pieces together only add to the frustration.

By working with me, you’ll not only reclaim those precious hours but also say goodbye to unnecessary stress. I’ll handle all the details and will provide you with an actionable design plan you feel confident about to implement in your space.
